Depending on the starting point you can take the way Koln - Frankfurt - Karlsruhe - Basel, but also the route Venlo - Ludwigshafen - Karlsruhe - Basel. Follow Swiss autobahn No. 2 (Basel - direction Lucerne - San Gottardo (tunnel) - Lugano).
Exit Lugano-Nord (exit 49), then hold Lugano at the small roundabout and then keep right at the traffic lights, then immediately bear left at the traffic lights and direction CENTRO driving. This (falling) road just FOLLOW. You are now under the railway tunnel. Now straight towards Gandria, St. Moritz and Porlezza (Ensure that you do not miss the exit to the right with a small blue road sign).
Just outside the city of Lugano you drive a scenic route directly along the lake Lugano. After the Swiss-/ Italian border just follow this road. The tunnel and you automatically drive into Porlezza.
Thoroughfare follow (with glass artwork on roundabout keep left) until the traffic lights. There turn right. This is Via Osteno. Then after about 1 kilometer is a bridge in this way. Immediately after the bridge turn right and drive down to the reception of International Camping, where you can register.
